Dan Hett - Discussing his new series of interactive works addressing his experience online after loosing his brother in the Manchester terror attack.

Matt Boswell - Memorialising holocaust survivors as interactive holograms and memorial sites as VR experiences.

Dan is an artist, creative technologist, and game developer. He will be talking about his current body of work, a series of experimental games exploring his experiences in the aftermath of the Manchester terror attack in which his brother was tragically lost.

+ MATTHEW BOSWELL

Matthew is a research fellow at Leeds University and will be discussing his projects exploring the future of Holocaust memory in the digital age. His work includes Interactive Testimony, a series of interactive holograms of Holocaust survivors, and Virtual Holocaust Memoryscapes, a research project developing immersive virtual environments of Holocaust memorial sites.

SARAH UNWIN

Sarah is the founder of The Death Forum and has an interest in how technology and digital culture is changing our relationship with death. She will be opening the event with an overview of recent notable news and developments in this area, and giving an introduction to the events theme.

- The venues main entrance is on the ground floor but has two steps to contend with, an accessible side entrance with a ramp is easily available and can be accessed on the evening. But, If you would like to access this side entrance we ask that you please contact us via the details below and you will be welcomed at the door to ensure you can enter with ease.

- The event is seated, and sound will be amplified. Should you require a wheelchair space or a reserved seat near the front due to visual impairment please contact us via the details below and this will happily be arranged
