Where do you position yourself in the market?) with the PRACTICAL ACTIONS of branding and story telling (How can I turn my big ideas into better products, the right product names and tone of voice, the right images and packaging? What can I write, blog or tweet about that my potential clients are interested in?)
This will be the very first time I will be hosting this one-day online workshop on PRACTICAL BRANDING & STORY TELLING FOR CREATIVE BUSINESSES, taking place on Thursday 20 April from 9.30am - 4pm (UK time)
During this practical & interactive day I will help you to:
Find out what branding really is (it's more than just a pretty logo!), and why it is so important especially for small creative businesses.
Identify YOUR own brand values and how you can attract your DREAM clients to your brand.
Start telling YOUR story, in a way that feels natural, non-salesy and without 'baring it all'. But also how to focus on stories that will improve your credibility, profile, trust and ultimately sales?
Identify for your business and audience what to write, tweet and blog about - what are the stories that your clients are interested in?
Turn your brand values & client insights into a stronger brand - not just creating a pretty logo, but how you can improve your products, website, images, packaging, display & presentation, promotional material, social media - in great detail and step-by-step you will create your own action plan. On a small budget. This is creative stuff!

This is an online workshop
This workshop is online, and you can join us from anywhere in the UK or overseas! You join us from your own computer or laptop, from the comfort of your own home or studio.
So, wherever you are, you can access our practical, real life, expert training. All you need is a computer and access to the internet. And you don't need to be highly technically advanced at all, as we will give you very clear instructions on how to register for the sessions, and we give you access to our user-friendly online platform before the workshop, so you can make yourself comfortable before the day starts.

On Thursday 20 April I will run 4 mini-workshops:
Intro to branding: We will start the day with what branding actually is, and what it is not. Why do you need a brand, especially as a creative business? And what are your brand values and what does your brand stand for? Who are your ideal clients that you want to attract? Through various creative exercises, examples and questions you will be able to pinpoint much more on what you want to be known for.
Telling YOUR story: Find out why telling your story has become so popular for creative businesses, and how to do this without giving away too much. What will engage and attract your clients? How can you build your credibility, profile & trust through your stories, and what can you write, blog & tweet about? I will give you loads of ideas and examples, and you will start drafting your own headlines and themes.
8 Steps to creating your brand: Step-by-step we will be looking what you can do exactly to communicate your brand values - from your products & collection to your website, packaging, promotional materials, to your product descriptions and your social media, tone of voice and even our invoice, and everything in between. By the end of this session you will have your own action plan to implement your own branding in your business.
How to make your brand stick? How can you create a strong brand? How can you implement your action plan to make sure that you will turn your ideas into reality?
At the end of the day there will be a 45min Q&A call with Patricia to answer any questions you might have.
You will get homework between these session to put your learning immediately into practice and to start using your know knowledge in your own situation or business!
All 4 sessions will be recorded and put onto our private online learning platform, where you can network with the other participants too.
You can watch the recordings again and again (the workshop recordings + presentations will be available for you for 6 months). You can also ask questions here after the event, and Patricia will answer them on the private forum.
If you are unable to join us for the entire day then you can catch up with the recordings, and ask questions via our private forum.
