Description

The event is suitable for / open to interested clinicians from Primary and Secondary Care - GPs, Practice Nurses, District Nurses, Rheumatology Consultants, Junior Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Allied Health Professionals etc.

An opportunity to hear from the lead clinician, Professor Bhaskar Dasgupta, about how the new guidelines will improve outcomes for patients.  Professor Dasgupta is the lead author BSR and BHPR Guidelines for the management of Giant Cell Arteritis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica and co-author of the "2015 Recommendation for management of PMR- a EULAR/ACR Collaborative Initiative".

Event to be chaired by Dr Anne McEntegart (Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer (School of Medicine) University of Glasgow) and fully supported by the Scottish Society for Rheumatology.
