The Director's Hub is the result of attending one too many networking events that promised little and delivered nothing.

Life as a director and business owner can be lonely; the Hub facilitates peer-to-peer networking and learning to discuss the real challenges that keep you awake at night.

Bringing together business owners and directors from across the UK. Hosted on a purpose built platform, the Director's Hub concept is launching with this, the first event, on Friday 14th May at 10am.

Every event will introduce a guest speaker who is an expert on a topical subject . This month our guest speaker will be challenging your perceptions on networking and asking why anyone is in the room at all.

The purpose of The Director's Hub is to bring like minded people together to challenge and solve the problems that we all face in business; yet rarely have peers or a safe place to discuss.

"Without knowing what you want to achieve from networking and how to get it, you are wasting your time attending any events."

Platform: Hosted on a specialist platform (REMO) that simulates a real life networking event for up to 50 directors to participate.

Participants can move freely around the room and join different tables as you would at a 'real life' event.

Theme: The theme for this event is 'why do we network', there will be a short 5 minute presentation focused on the purpose of networking and peer-to-peer learning to spark discussion.

Format:

- Day before an attendee list is circulated

- 5 minutes to adjust to the software,

- Event introduction

- Short presentation

- 50 minutes networking

- Close

The Networking: Not everyone finds that networking and starting conversations comes naturally. The purpose of themes is to create a common interest that acts as an ice-breaker and avoids the awkward introductions when joining conversations.

From £5.00 (full price is £50 per event and there is a sliding discount for the first 25 bookings).

For a number of reasons. In the view of the Hub it should be about building meaningful relationships with business peers to discuss the challenges we are facing.
