Delivered by a Small Charity Week collaboration of sector friends:
- Rachel Cooper is a freelance chartered accountant who specialises in taking the fear out of finance through training, mentoring and action learning. She’s worked with charities and social enterprises of all shapes and sizes, but she is at her happiest working with small charities.
- Kita Ikoku is Founder / Director at Clear Thinking Consultancy (CTC). Kita founded CTC in February 2010 as a response to the widening inequalities that she saw in her then-current role between smaller, community-based voluntary sector organisations and larger “prime” contractors who had access to more resource to promote their offer and secure funding but whose practices often excluded those on the ground and, therefore, the most excluded and vulnerable. CTC’s services focus on strategic development, impact and funding.
- Amsel Page von Spreckelsen is a consultant specialising in management accounting and internal financial reporting for the charity sector. They love budgets more than is healthy.
- Liz Pepler is Director of Embrace Finance, a small non profit organisation which specialises in working with small charities to become financially confident. Liz has over 20 years experience of working with small charities through periods of growth, stability and financial difficulty and supports organisations with a three step plan to financial sustainability. Liz is Trustee Treasurer of Association of Chairs. Liz loves helping people embrace their inner finance director.
This is a collaboration with sector friends who are also running some fantastic finance sessions for small charities. Check them out at www.smallcharityweek.com/events
Zoom links will be sent the day before the session.
