The Dons Local Action Group: 2020 - 2025.

The Dons Local Action Group was founded in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and launched a ground-breaking programme of community support to help the isolated and vulnerable. Today this volunteer-led charity goes from strength to strength, fighting food poverty and social inequality across South West London.

This talk by DLAG volunteer, Craig Welstead, runs from 11.50am - 12.10pm and will show how people power can triumph in response to a global crisis, boosting public morale and forging friendships, in addition to providing material support.This session is part of the annual Merton Heritage Discovery Day programme.
