The Early Years Forum (EYF) – The Hague

The Early Years Forum (EYF) began at BSN Junior School Vlaskamp more than 5 years ago. There was due to the realisation that early years practitioners within The Hague and beyond would benefit from regular opportunities to meet and share good early years practice and now includes participants from across the region.

The Forums have become a significant professional meeting point for many practitioners with number of attendees growing each year. The networking event is funded by the International Leadership Academy, the learning and development arm of the British School in the Netherlands, and is open to staff working in early years settings across the region.  Please keep this network growing and pass on this information to any early years colleagues/child-care employees that you know would benefit from attending.

Who can apply?

Any member of staff working in an early year’s context in the Hague area. You must be a teacher or in a role supporting teaching and learning in a school, nursery or early years setting.

What’s Involved?

We host three events per year. You are welcome to register for one, two or all three of these sessions. The EYF structure will typically be organised within the following structure:

• Lunch and welcome
• Presentation on current early years research/sharing outstanding practice within specific settings (this shall be on a rotation basis with contributions from colleagues across The Hague area, and beyond!). Programme Fee

The event is funded by the International Leadership Academy, the learning and development arm of the British School in the Netherlands. If you book and are unable to attend, please do contact us to cancel your place as we often have a waiting list for this forum and want to maximise its full potential for the local education community.
