The upcoming second series of the Earth Forward Geoenvironmental student talk is an initiative of the Geoenvironmental Division of the Canadian Geotechnical Society and provides a unique perspective of the most promising research efforts of rising geotechnical and environmental researchers.

This edition will feature PhD student Akanksha Bhurtel from the University of British Columbia. Akanksha is doing specialized research on bio-mediated ground improvement techniques. Akanksha will speak on Composite bio-engineering methods for soil stabilization and sustainability.
