The East Midlands Series: Incident Management Parts 1 & 2
Event Information
About this Event
This webinar from Communities Prepared is aimed at Flood Warden and Community Emergency Volunteer groups based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and other counties within the East Midlands. The session has been designed to support volunteers to develop their understanding of the responsibilities and limitations of their role, increase knowledge on a range of emergencies and learn new skills to build the capabilities of their groups. The webinar will be co-delivered with the Environment Agency’s East Midlands Flood Resilience Team, Derbyshire County Council's Emergency Planning Team and Nottinghamshire County Council's Emergency Planning Team, to provide local knowledge and expertise and promote a joined-up approach to community resilience.
Throughout the webinar we will be referring to the two training handbooks on which this session is based. You can download and read Incident Management Part 1 and Incident Management Part 2 from the Communities Prepared hub. If you are not currently a member, you will be prompted to register – it’s free to join! For any questions regarding the hub, please contact Communities Prepared at communitiesprepared@groundwork.org.uk.
Join us to build your knowledge on a range of key topics, including:
• The three Cs (Command, Control and Communications) and how these apply
• Working with emergency responders
