Summary

A 'must-attend' conference led by Sir Clive Woodward on how young people can make the difference to Gloucestershire's workforce and how they can become part of your winning team. The event will enable employers to understand how they can benefit from work-placements, internships and apprenticeships and how the county's schools and colleges are adapting their curriculum to provide you with an employable workforce for the future. In addition, one of the country's leading cyber experts will be presenting on how Gloucestershire-based businesses can protect themselves from future cyber attacks.

Gloucestershire has an aging workforce and BREXIT will result in more employers needing to recruit locally. This is a 'must-attend' conference led by Sir Clive Woodward on how young people can make the difference to Gloucestershire's workforce and how they can become part of your winning team. The event will enable employers to understand how they can benefit from work-placements, internships and apprenticeships and how the county's schools and colleges are adapting their curriculum to provide you with an employable workforce for the future. The event will be held within the John Huggett Engineering Hall and seminar rooms at the new SGS Berkeley GREEN campus, which is easily accessible from the M5 and has ample free parking.

SGS Berkeley GREEN opens September 2017 and will offer some of the best training facilities in the country for the Built Environment, Welding, Engineering and Digital Technologies; SGS College has invested in a new £5million Engineering Centre (known as GREEN) that will respond to the regional growth in engineering and nuclear and will deliver full and part- time training to learners from the age of 16 including apprenticeships, adult re-training programmes and degree level learning.
