We are delighted to continue our collaboration with Abney Park Trust & Film London at the Delph Room, Abney Cemetery – one of London’s Magnificent Seven Cemeteries.
On Sunday Sept 28th and Oct 12th, we invite all ages to become a pop-up orchestra with The Enchanted Cinema’s interactive show featuring stunning scenes from The Red Turtle (2016) and our favourite two scenes from My Neighbour Totoro (Catbus & Flying Sequence).
We start with a fun warm-up using our hands and voices before kids and grown-ups team up with instruments – Indian gopichand, South American butterfly charango, turtle drums, lyre harp, zaphir chimes, gong, bird flutes, ocarinas, bamboo canes and more – to create a live score to the Red Turtle's mysterious island followed by Totoro!
11– Red Turtle + Totoro (Interactive Cinema Event – All Ages)
1215 – join us at the front to try out instruments.
1230 - end
Please note - we kindly request shoes to be left at entrance.
