This is one of the bootcamp sessions that has been opened up for a broader audience. This bootcamp day introduces its participants to the fundamentals of customer segmentation. Segmentation is a process that divides the customer base into groups of similar customers - often for marketing purposes. In many organisations, a customer segmentation is used as a strategic tool to understand customers and monitor evolutions throughout the customer base.
At the end of this day, participants will understand the intuition, methodology and code needed to construct a useful, data-driven, cluster-based segmentation. During a hands-on lab, the participants can apply their newly gained segmentation skills to make a segmentation of the Brussels Data Science Community members using SAS.
