About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

One of the best things I've learned as a facilitator is how to contract well with clients and groups. It gives me so much more freedom in the sessions I facilitate and helps me understand:

  • the expectations of clients and groups
  • the insights and hopes they have - even if they haven't initially articulated this
  • the history and experiences of the groups I work with.

Being able to ask great questions and set really clear expectations with clients and groups, consistently helps me work with more purpose, flexibility and ease.

In this session, I'll provide a relaxed space to help you explore how to contract brilliantly, with time to think, chat and share experiences.

You'll leave feeling ready to approach your next session or client conversation with confidence and clarity.

Although we'll be chatting all things contracting in this session, it's also a great opportunity to spend some time with other faciltators and trainers and build your community.

Welcome to The Facilitation Space - a place dedicated to helping facilitators develop, grow and enhance their skills. I’ve been facilitating for over 20 years - everything from leadership programmes to strategy sessions with exec teams to team away days. For the last 5 years I've been working virtually, regularly facilitating leadership programmes virtually for small and large organisations.

I absolutely love facilitating and what it can bring to individuals, teams and organisations. I also love supporting other facilitators - holding spaces for them to explore,.discover and grow - as well as have lovely, rich conversations about facilitation.
