The Falstaff museum is a terrifying place and will leave you with a real sense of the paranormal. This will be our first outing here and can,t wait to see or hear who or what we will encounter during this event. A landmark on Stratford's skyline since the middle ages, the Shrieves house (now known as Falstaff's Experience) has been witness to fire, war, plague witchcraft and rumour has it murder.
It has been documented that William Shakespeare himself has walked the ancient cobble stones and based his most famous character Falstaff on one of the residents. During the 17th century Civil war troops were billeted here and the Stratford Ripper has been said to have committed many murders within the building.
With so much chilling history and built on 5 ley lines, is it unsurprising that it has the second highest number of paranormal occurences in Great Britain.
Strange Occurences are numerous and reported on a daily basis . Hauntings include: An 18th century serial killer A little girl known to have been a pickpocket during it,s time as a tavern Sightings of civil war soldiers, victorian ladies, 16th prostitutes, victims of the ripper, plague victims plus many more strange sightings and occurences to mention.
