The Family Business Journey
Tue 31 January 2017, 16:00 – 20:00 GMT
Join us in Norwich for a family business event that explores the challenges associated with running a family business at different stages in their journey.
Our family business speakers will share their stories and include a business that is in its early years and another that is one of the oldest in the region.
Claire Martinsen, Founder of Breckland Orchard.
Claire worked for a large corporate and perhaps had every girl’s dream job – working with chocolate for many years before deciding the long three hour commute was unsustainable. So when her children were one and three, she decided it was time to follow her dream and passion, and to start up on my own. She swapped the world of big business for something closer to home - Breckland Orchard where they make Posh Pop®, drinks consisting of fabulous flavour combinations with spring water as their base. The drinks are inspired by those made by her grandmother Jessie when she was young.
Further speakers will be announced shortly.
As well as informative insights there will be a panel discussion prior to time to network with the family business community over supper.
