About this event
You're invited to find "the me I want to be" with Ashley Evenson from Oval Productions. A fun and interactive workshop to find a pathway to who you want to be and how to achieve that, resulting in your very own confidence cape!
Quite often, so many of are us are playing catch up. We are the people who get the punch line, after everyone has already laughed. While peers and others have read fifty self help books, get up for a run everyday at 5 AM and have perfectly glowing skin and gorgeously coiffed hair after three promotions and multiple children, some of us are just struggling to take care of ourselves. Some of us are still trying to figure out the best way forward, if and when we have the motivation to keep moving.
The Me I want to Be workshop, is not about how to turn you into the 5 am joggers, or the perfectly coiffed hairdo influencer. This workshop focuses on giving you the time and space to reflect on what type of way forward looks best for you? How can you be just ahead of the jump, instead of always the last one behind. It is about crafting out the narrative you want to take place, and inputting the tools to make that narrative come to life. Maybe you want to go out more and see more art works... Maybe the 'You' you want to become is all about baking or open water swimming, the 'You' you are looking for asks for promotions and is worth them.
Through a series of creative exercises, you will go through the journey of what the future of you can look like, and remember what it means to dream of better days and provide actionable items that can get you to those places, and into the shoes of the 'You' the world needs to see.

About us
The Loss Project is programming a series of workshops, talks and events in July/August 2022 as part of an exciting collaboration with The Fandangoe Kid. Last year, The Fandangoe Whip, a converted ice cream van, took to the streets to talk to people about stigmatised emotions including grief and loss, in light of the pandemic with ice cream!
This year the Whip is back, in a new guise and a brand new partnership with CAUKIN studio and the Skip gallery. We hope to smash the taboos around mental health and grief/loss by bringing ice cream back to the Greenwich Design Fest and Canary Wharf’s summer festival alongside a programme of therapeutic workshops, talks and events to support people and open up the conversation about mental health.
Location
The Skip will be outside the Now Gallery in Greenwich- you won't be able to miss us!
