Description

The First Leeds MRI Study Day provides a well- rounded and informative introduction to imaging of the Liver,GI tract and Paediatric MRI. Sessions will be led by Radiologists, Radiographers and Clinical Scientists from one of the UK's most established MR Imaging centres. The day will include characterisation of benign and malignant liver lesions, pathology/technique of MRCP'S, GI imaging and radiographer technique, paediatric oncolgy of abdomen and pelvis and paediatric techniques and interesting cases.We will conclude the day with talks about our award winning fast track paediatric anaesthetic service and 'scanning the unscannable' incorporating MRI compatible pacemakers, and the various complex implants we facilitate witin our units.
The event will be held at the Thackray Medical Museum, conveniently located with good access to motorways, train stations and city centre hotels. On site parking is included in the price and lunch and refreshments will be provided. The day is aimed at Radiographers, Registrars and Consultant Radiologists with an interest in MRI imaging.
The course is accredited by the Society of Radiographers CPD NOW and the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR 5 credits)
