THE FLOOD
‘Badac are one of British Theatre’s best kept secrets’ Battersea Arts Centre
The Flood explores the trauma of being in a love affair during World War One and exposes how, within such relationships, life was lived moment by moment and every breath was cherished.
It follows the passionate relationship between a frontline soldier and a nurse, and highlights, through correspondence and snatched private moments, the brutality of their existence, the banality of war and the immediacy of death.
It is an explosive, highly charged and intelligent production that consistently received high praise from both press and audiences at the Edinburgh Festival 2014.
'An unflinching, immersive WW1 drama' - The List ****
