If you're looking to start or grow a food business this is the event for you!

Join inspiring retail buyers, entrepreneurs and experts from the food industry for this one day extravaganza.

How does a Food Exchange work?

Exchange events put in you in touch with large brand buyers looking for products and solutions just like yours. You'll also hear advice from a variety of entrepreneurs who have been there and done it plus experts in topics such as sales, marketing and PR for the food industry.

As an additional and optional opportunity you can bring along one sample item from your business and business cards to display. As there will be 200 attendees at this event there will be limited space available. You may have to share a table and the surface space is on a first come, first serve basis. Attendees, buyers, journalists and bloggers can view your products during the breaks.

Adrian Boswell, Selfridges fresh food buyer own bought and concessions

11.30am: Starting, growing and selling Green and Black’s
Craig Sams co-founded Green & Black's chocolate with his partner Josephine Fairley in 1991, and successfully sold the company to Cadbury in 2005. In this on-stage Q&A, Craig will tell the story of starting, growing and selling a successful business.

12.00pm: How to sell into retail and build a successful brand
Mark Palmer is former marketing director of Pret A Manger and now combines an ongoing board advisory role at Pret with non exec and consultancy work including with Cawston Press soft drinks, Union Hand-Roasted and the Primal Pantry. Mark will talk about how to build a successful brand.

3.30pm: Go global
Discover how to export your products across the world with help from proven entrepreneurs

4.00pm: Get in the press and build a brand
A panel of journalists will show how to get your business in the press and build a brand
