Description

Since 1707, we have been purveyors of the world’s finest tea – from our famous blends to rare discoveries from every corner of the tea-growing map.

Now we’re funnelling three centuries’ worth of tea obsession into a series of masterclasses in our Piccadilly store . Over the course of an hour, guests will hear about the history of tea, and learn about its journey from leaf to the shop floor. You’ll hear about tea drinking ‘etiquette’, although traditionalists be warned – you may just find that we encourage you to throw off the shackles of tradition and try something altogether unexpected.

Be prepared for tastings at our steampunks served by our in-house tearistas – and since no tea is an island, you’ll also discover their perfect biscuit pairings served alongside. We also won’t be afraid to answer those necessary, hard-hitting questions: how do you dunk a biscuit properly?

You will take away with you a new wealth of tea knowledge, some brewing tips to complete your now-full suite of tea skills.

As it’s always nice to have a cup of tea (or several) before the day starts properly, and we’ll give you behind the scenes access, hosting you in our store before it opens.

Just ten spots are available, so if you’re thirsty for this knowledge – or perhaps simply for an expertly made cup of tea – we recommend you book your spot quickly.

Please enter through our Duke Street Entrance.
