We have lined up two fantastic speakers (as well as a host of others to be confirmed) from outside the world of recruitment to aid you on your journey:
Riham Satti is amongst the top 50 disruptive game changers in Thames Valley, top 100 influential UK tech business leaders and according to Forbes a ‘female founder taking the UK by storm’. As well as her involvement in the tech ecosystem and working with innovative start-up companies, Riham’s main interests lie in leveraging technology to unleash human capital, supported by the likes of Microsoft, European Space Agency and Oxford University
Her vision is to unleash human capital to benefit business and society. Today, many industries are highly fragmented and facing an assortment of challenges. This is due to human biases that limit decision making: speed accuracy trade-off, knowledge-base, cognitive-emotional interactions and prediction. She believes that machines and humans working together form an integrated intelligence. Her session will take you through a whirlwind of possibilities and how this could relate to the world of talent.
Change is inevitable in all organisations and life in general. All too often our desire to improve things is undermined by the skepticism of others and by our own caution and fear. Professor Damian Hughes will offer us some insights into the human psyche to explain why this should be so, but also demonstrates that once we understand how our minds function, there are practical steps we can take to overcome our inbuilt resistance to change. And the results can be extraordinary.
