For those of you who attended our October event, in response to your roundtable feedback we have focused this agenda around social media recruiting, employer brand & talent pipelines. There are also a number of other topics that will be covered such as video interviewing and resource planning and strategy development in response to your discussions & interest.
We will look at a number of member case studies & insights from industry thought leaders in practical 'how-to' sessions. And as usual we will hold our invaluable round table discussions to give you a chance to network with your peers, and share advice and best practice amongst you.

Talent Pools - are they right for your company? Jennifer Cunningham, new Head of Employer Marketing at SMRS will be presenting this (previously Director of Talent Acquisition EMEA Adidas Group)

Sonru and Video Interviewing Best Practice - Ed Hendrick, Founder & CEO of Sonru & Dan Fitzpatrick, Pepsico will look at "Video Interviewing: The Pepsico Journey"
Caroline Hill and Simon McLoughlin (Directors) from Creed Communications 'Bringing your employer brand to life' You’ve worked hard to define your EVP’s, so how do you promote your Employer Brand through the full employee lifecycle so that it: • Makes you stand out from the crowd in your attraction comms • Increases your conversions during the candidate journey • Helps align behaviours and increase productivity/engagement with your existing people • Creates brand advocates inside and outside your organisation We’d like to share with you some examples of where this has been achieved and give you some hints and tips how we’ve overcome some of the obstacles to building award-winning brands.
Carve Consulting will be presenting insights from recent research in partnership with the FIRM on social recruiting strategies. This research looks further than the use of social platforms exploring ownership of social recruiting strategies and budgets within organisations, where investment decisions are made and how ROI is measured.
Our member session will be led by Martin Dangerfield, Project Manager Global Resourcing at Rolls Royce who will be looking at Candidate Experience – hype, reality or passing fad (and some things that you can do about it)
Candidate experience or journey or whatever the word is has become a hot topic in the corporate world. It’s an easy topic to talk about and everyone in business, HR or Talent Acquisition has a view on what it is. The reality though is it is a really tough thing to get your arms around as typically no single person in the organisation owns the end to end process. In Martin's session he will talk through some of the challenges, what hasn’t worked so well as well as some practical solutions to a complex topic.
