"The Four Reliances" with Ken Holmes - Saturday

About this Event

Over the weekend, it gives an opportunity of discussing priorities in life and of explaining the difference between expedient truth and definitive truth.

Please also reserve a place on the Sunday event to receive the whole teaching, however, it is not essential that you attend both days.

Ken Holmes

Ken is currently Director of Studies at Kagyu Samye Ling. His life is spent teaching in Samye Dzongs in various countries, assisting Akong Rinpoche, writing and translating dharma works, and he also occasionally interprets for visiting Tibetan lamas. He has also lectured in elementology and astro-science for the Tara-Rokpa College of Tibetan Medicine. He was a founder member of the Scottish InterFaith Council and has worked with the British Cabinet Office and the European Community on training programmes. He represented Buddhism at the seminal 2002 meetings in Brussels to discuss religious representation in the new European constitution.

Parking

There is very limited parking at the Lodge.

There is pay & display parking on The Crescent. Alternatively, there is a reasonably priced long stay pay & display car park on Somerset Terrace (YO11 2PA), a 3 minute walk from Londesborough Lodge.

There is no fee for this course, however, we would be delighted to receive a donation.. Your offering will allow our courses and facilities to be available to everyone, and to help with the renovations costs of the Centre.
