This year’s theme, “From Birth and Beyond,” focuses on the latest approaches to supporting children, young people, and adults with hearing difference. The programme has been designed with Teachers of the Deaf and Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Teaching assistants in mind, offering both research-led insights and practical strategies for everyday practice.

Highlights include:

  • Keynote by Prof. Samantha Johnson, Developmental Psychologist and Professor of Child Development
  • Presentations from the 3 Cochlear Implant Manufacturers
  • Clinical perspectives on datalogging monitoring and reluctant users ( Principal Speech and Language Therapists from the Manchester and Birmingham CI service)
  • Afternoon workshops covering Paediatrics, Teens/Adults, AAC, Motivation & Management, and Parent Perspectives
