Event description

Description

Needing to be agile

You have been told to become more ‘agile’. It is a phrase heard a lot nowadays in a whole range of different sectors; but what does it actually mean? In a nutshell; the key aspects of being ‘agile’ are to create flatter decision making structures that allow employees to self-organise and empower them to run with their ideas; thus, making organisations more innovative and faster in the process. The approach has the potential to bring about significant changes in individuals, teams and organisations, so much so that it can often seem quite overwhelming for some.

The fragile side

Self-organisation and innovation also makes for a lot of uncertainty and change. No project plan stays the same for 1 day and you may need to change course several times. “Sleepless nights” and “not knowing who does what” are frequent complaints. You or your team may feel challenged in this new agile world. This workshop will address this, often unspoken, fragile side of agile management and works through how it can be introduced sustainably and have a genuinely positive impact.

Who and what can you expect?

This workshop is aimed at managers who are working in an agile environment and would like to improve how they or their teams are working together. A coaching workshop is similar to individual coaching but with the benefit of gaining more insight and direct observation of how ‘agility’ impacts you and other managers in a small group (max 8 persons). Through reflection exercises, feedback and case studies you gain more awareness of patterns and can experiment with new ways of dealing with your situation.
