Who is this Forum for?

This event will be of interest to professionals involved in negotiating, drafting and managing international agreements for the sale and delivery of natural gas - either by pipeline or as liquefied natural gas (LNG)

Why Participate?

More than one-third of natural gas is traded across national borders, and many of the former obstacles to cross-border supply, such as regulation, level of investment and pricing are weakening. While the global natural gas market does remain regionally segmented in terms of trade patterns, the agreements for the sales and delivery of natural gas do follow a distinctly common format. By gaining an understanding of purpose of the terms of such agreements it is possible to play a more effective role as a negotiator or advisor.

Benefits of attending?

This course will examine the various agreements used at each stage of the supply chain for the cross-border supply of natural gas. This will include project implementation, sale and purchase, transportation, regasification of LNG and natural gas storage. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the variety of contracts must be structured and implemented for this expanding area of the international energy sector.
