THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY EVENT FOR FRIENDS OF THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND STAFF

This is the Chairman's end-of-year event for members of the Friends and staff of The National Archives to celebrate achievements during the year and to thank staff for their support. The event begins with a buffet at 5pm followed by a talk at 5.45pm by Lord Hennessy, the Friends' president, entitled Writing the history of one's own times.

The talk will be followed by a question and answer session. The event will conclude with a book signing. Members attending the archives on this day will be able to enjoy an extra discount in the bookshop which will remain open until 7.30pm.

Members may bring up to two guests and those that join at the event will receive a £5 discount on their subscription.
