What is the line-up of this seminar?

Speakers Oliver Stoll and Roland Mühl cover thin film and short path distillation, plant setup, wiper systems, leak detection, applications, and toll distillation. Ends with a hands-on session on operating a distillation system — the seminar’s highlight.

What to expect from the seminar?

What language is used during the seminar?

The seminar will be held in English. Outside the official program German can be spoken as well.

Do I get to see live installations?

Yes, we will have a small laboratory distillation demo unit on site, which you can see, touch and operate. The operation steps will be demonstrated and you can try them out for yourself.

Is the seminar free of charge?

No. A fee of GBP325.00 ex VAT is charged by Suurmond UK Ltd upon registration. Suurmond UK Ltd is the official partner in the UK for VTA. You will receive an invoice including VAT payable to Suurmond UK Ltd upon registration.

Can I ask questions about my own distillation process?

All questions are welcome and help deepen understanding for everyone. Our experienced speakers will address all distillation topics; if time is short or confidentiality is needed, we’ll give an initial answer and arrange a follow-up discussion.

I want to cancel my participation. Can I get my money back?

For the UK event, cancellations after Oct 30, 2025, get a 50% refund; substitutions allowed anytime. If participation is too low, we may cancel or postpone, refunding the full amount in case of cancellation.

How much for a ticket?

GBP 325.00 ex VAT for a ticket. You will receive an invoice including VAT payable to Suurmond UK Ltd upon registration. Suurmond UK Ltd is the official partner in the UK for VTA.

Can I get my money back if I don't show up?

In case of no show without prior notification, no refund applies.

I can’t come to the location. Can I watch online?

As the seminar contains an important hands-on part unfortunately this is impossible.

Where to park my car?

You must pre book a parking space at the Bradfield Centre for an event. Email bradfieldreception@mantlespace.co.uk or call 0333 0066330. Alternative parking is available at Milton Road Park and Ride with a bus connection to the Science Park.

When will the location open doors?

Registration and welcome coffee as from 8:30 am, start of seminar at 9 am.
