The Future of Cambridge at Queen Edith's Community Cafe

The Future of Cambridge at Queen Edith's Community Cafe

Nightingale PavilionCambridge, England
Sunday, Dec 14 from 2:15 pm to 4 pm GMT
Overview

Join local residents at the monthly community cafe (with free teas and biscuits) to look at the future plans for Cambridge

Hosted by local historian and blogger Antony Carpen (Lost Cambridge, Cambridge Town Owl), everyone will have the chance to look at some of the maps, charts, and diagrams that explain what the local councils will be proposing for the housing and development in and around our city for the net 20 years. You'll have the chance to discuss the issues with fellow residents, draw all over the paper maps (there's no PowerPoint with this - it's old school!) and also raise any issues with local councillors who normally attend the monthly cafes.

The event is free, but you are invited if you can afford to, to donate to the costs of materials etc (as printing ink isn't cheap!)
