The Future of Cambridge - informal discussion

The Future of Cambridge - informal discussion

By Antony Carpen

Overview

Local historian Antony Carpen will be bringing along maps/diagrams for an informal Sunday afternoon conversation on our city's future.

Following the first two formal workshops in Queen Edith's and Cherry Hinton wards, this is another opportunity for local residents to find out more about the future plans for the continued growth of Cambridge, and the issues arising from recent announcements from The Government.

It won't be a lecture, and it won't be a party political event. The intention is to provide an informal community space where people can browse through summaries of recent announcements, look at maps, diagrams and graphs of who is proposing what, and find out more about how to raise any concerns and issues with local elected councillors and MPs, and also through the consultations that begin in December 2025.

Participation is free, but I am inviting donations to help pay for things like printing costs and research costs. (Also you will be responsible for your own food and drinks purchases!)
