The Future of Collaboration

Thursday 10th April ◊ 3:30pm to 7:30pm

Baker Tilly, 25 Farringdon Street, EC4A 4AB

How Cloud, Social and Mobile combine to transform business

Lightning talks, moderated panel discussion and business networking reception

Our London event in April comprises a 360° study of collaboration in the Cloud - what some are calling "social business". Helping us explore this important topic and examining the future of collaboration are a line-up of acknowledged experts in the field who are kindly forming the panel for our moderated discussion.

April also sees the kick-off of our 2014 EuroCloud Awards Programme. A very small component of the agenda, but hopefully a useful one - giving some feedback from the judges last year to attempt to provide some hints on what they look for. This year we are enjoying the support of three media partners so the objective of getting exposure to your products, services and company/brand awareness has already been put in place. All you need to do is enter (astonishingly simple).

The event will be rounded off with a convivial networking reception. Our hosts, Baker Tilly, who generously support the EuroCloud Awards in the UK, provide us with an ideal location and the perfect atmosphere for valuable social interaction (analogue style!).

Our agenda:

The social business landscape - David Terrar, EuroCloud UK & Agile Elephant

Some of the questions to resolve

  •  What is it?
  •  Why cloud (and mobile) makes a difference?
  •  What platforms?
  •  What are the barriers?
  •  Why isn't everybody doing it?

♦   The Future of Work Performance - Jon Mell, Social Leader, IBM UK

♦   Applying the McKinsey 7S Model, where S means "Social" - Alan Patrick, Agile Elephant
♦   SAP Jam - Connecting social to where the work is done - David Moore, SAP
♦   Jive - the importance of building community and a culture of sharing - Simon Levene, Jive
♦   Employee Engagement - the new heart of social business and collaboration - Janet ParkinsonAgile Elephant

STOP PRESS! Chris Boorman, CMO at Huddle now joins the star-studded line-up

Announcing the EuroCloud 2014 Awards Programme - Lindsay Smith

Panel discussion with all speakers, moderated by David Terrar

Entrance is by prior registration only, but is free to EuroCloud members
