Description

Due to falling participation trends and concerns about how best to invest in the future of UK boating and watersports, Liz Rushall was commissioned by British Marine to undertake a comprehensive review of participation trends and onwards recommendations for the boating and watersports sector.

Liz presented a summary of her dinghy-relevant findings at this year's RYA Dinghy Show and the presentation was very informative and highly thought-provoking for all those who attended.

Due to popular demand, Liz will be re-presenting her talk via an interactive Webinar which can be viewed live at the time and date stated. This time, she will also be joined by internationally renowned sailing journalist, Mark Jardine, who is the man behind Yachts & Yachting online. Mark, like Liz, has a passion for dinghy sailing participation and ensuring our sport stands the test of time and delivered an excellent talk on making sailing fun for young people at the Dinghy Show. He will be delivering an overview of that content too and will be able to add his thoughts to some of the challenges (and opportunities) which we face as a sector.

To sign up, please follow the link and provide us with your contact information. A link to the Webinar will be sent to the email address you provide to us. You can follow the link once the Webinar starts and watch the presentation from a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You will also be able to ask questions which we will do our best to answer in one of the short breaks.

The talk is designed for clubs, class associations & dinghy show exhibitors. However, anyone who has an interest in the future of dinghy sailing is welcome to sign up and view.

The panel of hosts will be Alistair Dickson (Director of Sport Development, RYA), Liz Rushall (Rushall Marketing) & Mark Jardine (Yachts & Yachting online).

Hear about what this means to you and us as a boating and watersports sector going forwards.

**A link to a recording of the presentation will be made available to all those unavailable to attend.
