Launching Enterprise Week 2017, this seminar will discuss the outlook for Jersey in an international context, identifying whether current local and global events are opportunities or threats.
Jersey's Chief Minister, renowned international broadcaster and commentator Simon Jack and global fintech entrepreneur and founder of WorldPay, Nick Ogden, will discuss the outlook for Jersey in an international context, identifying whether shifts in global politics, economics and technology are an opportunity or threat for Jersey.

Chief Minister Senator Ian Gorst will present an overview of the structure and health of Jersey’s current business and economic landscape.
BBC’s Business Editor Simon Jack will discuss the global political and economic shifts and how they are shaping the economic outlook. The impact of Brexit, Trump, the EU and China will be examined as Simon considers whether these changes pose an opportunity or a threat to Jersey.
Nick Ogden, Founder WorldPay and Clear Bank will explain how global shifts and advancements in technology are shaping business and consumer behaviour. Nick will talk about the impact of technology on everything from banking to mobile payments and whether they pose an opportunity or a threat to Jersey.
