About this event
The future of heat networks (communal and district heating systems) is changing. The Energy Act 2023 and the Heat Networks (Scotland) Act 2021 combined with the appointment of Ofgem as the regulator heat will transform the sector as a whole. Now is the time for operators and organisations involved with heat networks to take a serious look at their portfolios to understand, tackle and comply with imminent regulations.
Our Sycous ‘The Future of Heat Networks’ sessions are designed to support designers, specifiers, consultants, local authorities, housing associations, developers, contractors and other organisations. Showcasing leading heat network solutions from our key strategic partners across a range of areas from metering to consumer payment solutions to heat/hot water solutions and more, our sessions will cover a variety of future-proofed solutions whilst most importantly updating your organisation on the latest regulation information.
Presentations will start at 09:30 and finish at 12:00.
Breakfast will be available from 08:30 alongside lunch after the session and tea/coffee throughout.
These workshops are suitable for designers, specifiers, consultants, local authorities, housing associations, developers, contractors and other organisations involved in heat networks. Note that space is limited and priority will be given to organisations mentioned.
Our September event will include talks from the following organisations:
