Portsmouth CIPD Group and Wessex CIPD Branch are proud to be hosting this prestigious event that is open to everyone across the four local Groups that together form the Branch.
CIPD Chief Executive Peter Cheese and Prof Robert Ingram will present an engaging and informative afternoon event that will deliver insights, the results of latest research and thoughts regarding the future of HR and challenges ahead.
The first half of the session will be led by Professor Robert Ingram. Robert will examine the results and analysis of his up to the minute research on the key global HR issues of the moment. His research with Human Resource Directors in a wide variety of global organisations and sectors covers a range of issues and challenges, highlighting where HR might need to focus their skills and attention. What are the top priority people challenges and opportunities in your organisation/sector? What qualities do HR professionals need today in order to make an exceptional impact on the business? What does it take for a Human Resource Director to be a successful member of a business leadership team? These are some of the questions Robert will be exploring.
After a short refreshment break, the second half of the session takes the form of a presentation by CIPD Chief Executive Peter Cheese, followed by a question and answer session. Peter will take the opportunity to share some insight and observations which are current and of interest to those within the HR profession and wider business community.
After presenting, Peter will answer questions from you as the audience. Please submit your questions for Peter as part of the booking process for this event. This is a unique chance to hear the views of the leader of our Professional Body about the topical issues that matter to you.
