Dear fellow humanitarians and relevant colleagues,

We the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme, would like to invite you to “The Future of Humanitarian Resilience” day on Wednesday 22nd November 2017.

This is part of the “Humanitarian Resilience Week”, which is a series of four events and has been organised by the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme (for further information on the week, please find out more here on the Start Network website.

The “Future of Humanitarian Resilience” day, is an open day for all humanitarian stakeholders to attend and share experiences and lessons over a variety of topics. You can find a full agenda of the day at our website here.


This day brings together a wide variety of stakeholders, to discuss ways of; working with local partners, the best way to operate in conflict settings, how to develop a more inclusive response…..and many more topics!!

The event is open to all, and free to attend, so please do share this event with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders, as we will be discussing how to use our collective knowledge, expertise and experience to develop a better and smarter way to respond to and prepare for humanitarian disasters.
