Event description

Description

Join us at an event to discuss Wales, immigration policy and refugees.

What next for our immigration story, at a time of Brexit, Windrush scandals and navy patrols in the channel? In conversation with Rachel Cable, the Head of Oxfam Cymru, author Russell Hargrave will discuss this modern obsession, how politicians and the public have handled immigration over the decades, and what may happen next.

Hargrave started his political career working for the Liberal Democrats in Cardiff, and is now a freelance reporter and policy advisor with the Lib Dems.

Tea and coffee will be served, and there will a chance to buy Hargrave’s new book Drawbridge Britain from Eyewear Publishing.
