Presented by Toby Bassford, Senior Associate GiANT Worldwide
Navigating the terrain of leadership and management has always been fraught with challenges. Doing so now within the context of a rapidly changing culture and organisational environment is becoming an ever more difficult puzzle for many ill-equipped and fast promoted leaders and managers. The generation of people who have entered the workforce over the last 10-15 years have resisted the rather outdated cookie cutter approaches to leadership & management which rely too heavily on positional influence, not the true influence of simply being a leader worth following. We need more than ever simple and scalable, yet effective principles to help establish healthy leadership culture within organisations of all sizes. In this session we will focus simply on asking the question of how we personally can become leaders others actually want to follow, and how we can establish a healthy leadership culture in every sphere in which we influence others.
