Henry Sit – M&A Associate - Clifford Chance
Henry Sit is an associate in the Corporate team at Clifford Chance. He specialises in advising UK and international clients, with expertise in public and private mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Henry is regularly engaged with the Legal Tech team at Clifford Chance to help close the gap between legal tech and legal service delivery. He is a strong proponent for the adoption of legal tech in the workplace and is currently assisting with the introduction of a new legal tech software at the firm.
Duncan Bellamy – Partner – Allen & Overy
Duncan is an M&A partner at Allen & Overy with 18 years of experience in a wide range of domestic and cross border M&A transactions including public and private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and equity issues.
In recent years Duncan has advised on a number of significant transactions involving financial services, including the merger of HBOS and Lloyds TSB and the merger of Worldpay with Vantiv, and on a number of strategic fintech transactions. Duncan also has extensive experience in general M&A outside the financial services sector.
Edward Craft – Partner – Wedlake Bell
Edward is a technical expert on matters of company law and is recognised as a leading practitioner. Edward chairs the Company Law Committee of The Law Society, which is currently delivering a programme to facilitate the M&A process for SMEs. Edward advises on M&A, joint ventures, capital markets (both debt and equity) and international transactions.
Edward's work includes the QCA Code (2013 and 2018) and the much-used LSEW Q&A on electronic signing in the context of COVID (4 January 2021).
Richard Robinson - Founder- Robin Ai
Richard is the CEO and founder of Robin AI, a legal infrastructure business that is re-thinking how contracts are drafted, negotiated, and used. Richard founded Robin AI in 2019, driven by the need to democratize the legal industry. Before entering the world of entrepreneurship, Richard spent 5 years at Clifford Chance and Boies Schiller Flexner, two of the most prestigious law firms in the US and UK.
