The Future of our Community Group Forum 2022
Event Information
About this event
About the Peer Support & Community Group Monthly Forum
The forum was initially setup in the wake of COVID-19, bringing community groups together who had moved online. Since this time it has been hosted by Bipolar UK, GetUp SetUp, Mind, NSUN, and Together for Mental Wellbeing. During the sessions we connect and share learning through discussions on topics which have meaning to our community support groups and are most important to us right now.
The Future of our Community Group Forum 2022
We want to start our thinking and develop some plans for what the Community Forum might look like in 2022.
To do this, we are inviting anyone who has an interest in the sustainability of the forums to join us online on:
Tuesday 25th January 2022, 11am - 12.30pm
The session will be held on Zoom and you'll receive a link when you register. If you have any trouble registering or accessing the forum on the day, you can contact us at peersupport@mind.org.uk.
What will the session include?
During the session we will be asking each other:
- What were the successes and the challenges of the Forum in 2021?
- What new suggestions do we have for 2022?
- What is the need and the purpose of the forums right now and for the future?
How will we use the outcomes of our session?
We will use the outcomes of this first discussion session to inform the next steps of 'Making it happen' when we will run some priority and action planning sessions. Dates tbc.
