Join us for the fifth Vermilion Biennial Symposium on Friday 3rd October – a neutral forum in which we can have bold conversations about the future of Scottish dentistry.

The programme has been designed to resonate with every dental professional, from students to senior clinicians, from NHS associates to private practice owners and offers 8 hours of verifiable CPD. If you are facing the challenges of NHS dentistry, struggling with recruitment and retention, or simply looking to map out a long, rewarding career in primary care dentistry, this event is for you.

Guest speakers Mr Anas Sarwar, Leader of the Scottish Labour Party and former dentist, Editor of Dental Update Professor Ewen McColl, former head of the EDI Professor Richard Ibbetson and former Dean of Faculty of General Dental Practitioners Assoc Professor Ian Mills.

The event will be hosted on Friday, 3 October 2025 at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and you will earn 8 hours. The registration fee is: £35 for early bird (by 1 July), £50 for the full day (lunch included) and £20 for the afternoon session only.
