Fashion Angel and Bourgeois Boheme are delighted to invite you The Pineapple Room for our forthcoming networking talk The Future of Fashion Textile Innovation , as part of Fashion Revolution Week.

Known as the "fourth industrial revolution" in fashion circles, new developments across the physical, digital, and biological worlds have recently opened for new material solutions in the industry. Bourgeois Boheme has been at the forefront in creating dynamic footwear collections utilising ground-breaking material innovations including cork, pineapple fibre Piñatex, natural slate stone and seed-based material - all from food-free crops.
On the panel will be Alicia Lai, Founder of Bourgeois Boheme, Dr Carmen Hijosa, inventor of Piñatex(TM) and Vivienne Austin, Fashion Consultant and Innovator
Chaired by Fashion Angel founder Alison Lewy MBE, the panel will be discussing the recent ground breaking textile innovations and how these are likely to influence the future of fashion.

As usual there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to network with the speakers, and the Bourgeois Boheme and Fashion Angel teams.
This talk is a must for anyone interested in finding out about the latest technical innovations and how they can help brands create amazing products, whilst building a more sustainable business, that’s kinder to the planet.

Vegan nibbles and refreshments will be served.

*The Pineapple Room at Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, East London will be held for a week from April 24th – 30th 2017, coinciding with Fashion Revolution Week. Come and explore the material Piñatex and its journey from experiment to fashion with Bourgeois Boheme and Piñatex™ inventors Ananas Anam.


1 All booking is online on a first come first serve basis – book early to avoid disappointment

2 The event is free for Business club members using the promotional code supplied but must reserve their place through the Eventbrite system. 

3 Booking is made via the Eventbrite online bookings system. Once you have confirmed your order, you will be directed to a secure Paypal website to pay.

You don't require a Paypal account to pay (you can use a credit or debit card), but if you do have a Paypal account, this can be used.

6 Please print out your ticket and bring with you to the event.

7 Participants are advised to arrive promptly otherwise the organisers may not allow them to join the session late as is disruptive to other delegates.

8 Fashion Angel reserves the right to change the event advertised whether through the website or any other promotional material
