On 14th December, we will be hosting a panel event to discuss the future of the BBC.

With the BBC charter renewal negotiations underway, we ask a panel of BBC watchers and commentators what a future slimmed-down, modernised BBC might look like?

Tom Clark, Editor of Prospect will chair the debate with panellists; Charlotte Higgins, Chief Culture writer at The Guardian who has written extensively about the BBC, Paul Oldfield, Deputy Director, Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Jean Seaton, Professor of Media History, University of Westminster
