The GB Landlords Property Event 2025

Following the success of last years event where we had almost 200 people register and almost 50 trade stands GB Landlords are holding another all day property event.

We have been blown away by the demand every seeing tickets going very quickly. This year will be no different!!

GB Landlords aim is to try and enable local Property Professionals and Property Agents to able to hear from leading Industry Professionals on a range of relevant subjects. We have so far the following confirmed to speak and more to be added.

SPEAKERS INCLUDE

Paul Shamplina - Landlord Action (coming to our event again to present at what he says is the best event outside of London!)

Suzanne Smith - Founder of the Independent Landlord (a qualified solicitor and one of the most followed people on the internet and an expert when it comes to the Renters Rights Bill will be making her first trip to Newcastle to address our event)

Sean Hooker - CEO Property Redress (landlords will need to join a property redress scheme so who better to tell us how this will work!)

Timothy Douglas – Head of Policy & Campaigns Propertymark. Propertymark have been consistent opponents of the RRB and warning of the implications of introducing it.

Gary Trent - Valuation Office Agency (speaking on how the work of the VOA affects Local Housing Allowance and how landlords can influence the amount being paid)

Tanya Hodnett – Head of Stakeholder engagement at DWP. Tanya was keen to come back again to answer questions raised last year on helping Landlords recover unpaid rent from benefits and update Landlord on the changes being introduced.

Kim McGuinness- Mayor for North East. We have invited Ms McGuinness to come along and talk about her plans on housing in the North east and are currently waiting for confirmation she will attend.

Overall a first rate line up of Industry Leading Speakers that normally you would have to go to London to hear.

Topics will include, an update of all the changes in legislation that will be expected from a newly elected Government along with guidance and suggestions on being a Landlord and managing Residential Properties, as well as other topics that are relevant in understanding all aspects of renting in a very uncertain period.

GB Landlords are committed to helping Property Professionals locally and nationally be ahead of the curve and demonstrate to Politicians and our local Councils that we are committed to improving property standards in the region and that the Landlords we work with are professional in their dealings with Tenants.

There will also be ample opportunity to speak to a wide range of exhibitors during the day about their relevant services or our speakers as they will be in a separate area.

The event is geared to the needs of Letting Agents and Landlords and is an excellent opportunity for Landlords and Property Agents to make sure you are up to date with all the recent legislation changes affecting Property Professionals and the services that are available.

It is also an excellent opportunity for Letting Agents to use the event for staff development.

This promises to be another really popular and informative day and early booking is recommended as numbers will be restricted by the venue.

PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT TICKET TYPES

If you need confirmation of your attendance for any reason at all, including as evidence of learning for CPD purposes, you MUST purchase a £25 ticket. Note that to obtain proof of attendance you must also turn up AND sign in on arrival. If you do not we will not be able to send confirmation.

We cannot guarantee that our proof of attendance will be accepted by any body for CPD purposes. If you leave before the end then we cannot give proof of attendance for the day.

If you do not need proof of attendance then please feel free to use a £5 ticket while they are still available!

Refunded tickets will bear the Eventbrite site booking fees.
