The deadline for the General Data Protection Regulation is fast approaching. In May 2018, companies will be required by law to comply with the new data protection legislation. This new directive will affect all business areas and the way they approach customer data.

In order to understand how these changes will impact the wider business community, Cybertonica (AI/ML Fraud Prevention and Management Company) is inviting you to attend an evening on data protection and cybersecurity. Andrea Dunlop, CEO Acquiring and Card Solutions, Paysafe

Andrea Dunlop is the CEO of Acquiring and Card Solutions at Paysafe. She joined the Group in February 2013. With over 16 years’ experience in the financial sector, Andrea has in-depth knowledge across many aspects of payments; from Acquiring and Issuing, to Mobile solutions. Andrea is the Chairwoman of the Emerging Payments Association, as well as winner of the Payments Pioneer of the Year 2017 and is listed in the Power 10; a definitive list of the top ten most influential contributors to the payments industry. Prior to joining Paysafe, Andrea ran her own consultancy, where she led several successful programmes for large payments and financial services companies. Before becoming a consultant, Andrea served in the Royal Air Force, serving over 10 years in Telecommunications engineering.

David Parker, CEO, Polymath Consulting

David is the founder and CEO of Polymath Consulting who work on projects and advise organisations across the Cards & Payments industry. Polymath Consulting and David are particularly well known for their work on E-money & Emerging Payments. David is also an active NED and advisor to boards. He advises and/or sits on the boards of: Cybertonica, Stylopay and Curve. In consultancy he has worked across the complete value chain helping banks with their overall E-Money/Prepaid and Emerging Payments strategy right through to market entry analysis; as well as working with telcos, processors and programme managers on segment analysis, certification and membership applications.

Julian Saunders, CEO,

Julian is an experienced entrepreneur, business leader, and starter of new disruptive services. Originally a designer, he now specialises in optimising the interface between individuals and the organisations they interact with. In the early days, his tools were branding and retail environments. More recently he has concentrated on creating innovative personal data-driven digital services with an emphasis on empowering consumers. Julian now leads PORT, a personal data platform that enables businesses to connect with their customers, comply with the GDPRs and communicate with customers quickly, easily, and at low cost.

Letitia Seglah, Venture Development Executive - Compliance, Regulation and Risk, Startup Manufactory

Letitia is an independent consultant providing business management services to clients including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, HSBC, and Blackrock. Specializing in cross-country compliance and regulations, working with numerous regulators globally and across multiple jurisdictions. Assignments have included delivery and procurement of FinTech and RegTech vendor technology and in-house development of technology solutions. Working in the field of corporate innovation, RegTech, and FinTech, helping startups with all things financial, strategy, and scaleup. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Letitia spent her career in equity research and credit risk. Letitia studied towards an MSc Finance at the London School of Economics.

Malcolm Wright, Chief Compliance Officer, Revolut

Malcolm Wright is Chief Compliance Officer at Revolut, a leading UK FinTech offering a pre-paid debit card, currency exchange, cryptocurrency exchange and peer-to-peer payments. He previously worked as Global Head of AML and Fraud Transaction Monitoring at Thomson Reuters and holds the ICA International Diploma in AML. Malcolm sits on Research Advisory Board of the Future of Financial Intelligence Sharing programme as well as the UK RegTech Council.

Simon Hinks, Director, Parallel Marketing Associates Limited

Simon is Marketing and Data professional with a solid background in personal financial services and GDPR consulting. He is an expert in GDPR, data protection, change management, customer experience and delivering the full marketing mix across both traditional and digital media. Simon is currently working with a number of charities and for-profit businesses both inside and outside the EU ensuring their businesses support the regulations laid out within the GDPR. He is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and the GDPR Institute, a judge for the annual Loyalty Awards and has most recently written the core modules for the new IDM GDPR online certificate.

Joshua Bower-Saul, CEO and Co-founder, Cybertonica

Joshua Bower-Saul is CEO and founder of Cybertonica, a London based FinTech company that uses Artificial Intelligence in combination with excellent analytical, big data and statistical models to reduce basket drop-off and increase conversion for all channels of ePayments and transaction platforms. He has over 20 years’ experience in business management and sales. Joshua is the co-founder of 4 businesses in online funding, media and FinTech. He is a graduate of Harvard (MA) and INSEAD (MBA).

Chris Smith, Head of Operations,

Chris is Head of Operations at where he looks after the day-to-day running of the business, contributes to its strategic direction and lends a hand wherever necessary. Prior to PORT he spent three years working for PwC’s digital and customer consulting practice, focusing on operations. He worked on a number of large digital transformations where he gained specific experience in designing and delivering world-class digital customer experiences. More recently, he was a key part of PwC’s engagement with InsurTech startups, acting as an advisor in residence at the StartupBootcamp InsurTech accelerator and leading a flagship project with an insurance- focused start-up.

Adrian Sturley, VP of Customer Development and Partnerships & UK MD, Trunomi

Adrian leads Business Development and Partner Management for Trunomi. Adrian has more than 20 years of global experience in financial services and prior to joining Trunomi held executive positions at large financial solutions providers, including FIS, delivering large banking projects, developing business and product strategies, supporting business development and managing operations.
