Event description

Description

Ruskin was one of the first to link industrial pollution to the changing climate. The Generation Carbon Game considers carbon footprints in our time and through previous decades. It shows how quickly some technologies have been adopted, how rapidly we take new developments for granted, and considers the challenges we face for the good of our children.

Matthew Tulley is a Chartered Engineer and businessman, previously working in the oil industry and automotive sector. He is also a keen amateur builder and has been zero carbon for over a year.

This event is part of our Encounters with Ruskin season, developed in partnership with the Guild of St George and marking 200 years since Ruskin's birth.
