Description

With Derek Teasdale

Pike Law is one of the best-preserved pre-19th-century lead mining landscapes known in the North Pennines. It retains a wide range of well-preserved features including visually impressive hushes with exposed working faces. Join NHSN Earth Sciences Section-Lead, Derek Teasdale, to discover the story and geology of this postindustrial site.

This is a joint meeting with the Open University Geological Society.
