This workshop will cover how connecting with the present moment can put you in a powerful position to respond effectively to life’s uncertainties and shifts. This can be particularly helpful during the festive season when there is a strong drive towards consuming and comparing. We have been gifted with extraordinary minds which keep us safe in life, constantly working out the world around us to protect us. However, particularly during stressful times, many of us can fall into the trap of clinging rigidly to the stories our minds tell us to keep us safe. In this workshop you will learn how to use mindfulness-based skills to unhook from unhelpful and limiting stories, and to find space in the present moment to take action towards what’s important to you.

1. Maintain your balance in stressful times at Christmas by grounding yourself in the present moment
2. Enhance your flexibility to respond to the twists and turns of life by unhooking from limiting thoughts and stories
3. Take action to challenge self-limiting stories and expand your life by breaking out of your comfort zone to set you up for 2017
