Event Details

According to PM – within 12 years half the workforce will be freelance and the predominant approach will be working on short-term remote assignments (or ‘gigs’) accessed via online platforms such as People Per Hour and We Like to Work.

This will be a half day facilitated workshop working in groups and networking. Key focus being on what the Gig economy is and what it means to independent practitioners.

Facilitated by: Delyth Lloyd-Evans and Caroline Taplin from the Independent Practitioners Group

Registration and refreshments from 9.30am.

The event is free to members. There will be a charge of £20 plus VAT to Non Members.



Professional photography and video production will be taking place at the event, and these images may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.
