**THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT**
Nestled in the heart of Hampshire, lies a quaint and peaceful city with a voracious appetite for gin. This year, for World Gin Day, the most enthusiastic of its citizens will be congregating in a quintessentially English celebration of this juniper spirit.
You'll see a very different side of Winchester at the Ginchester Fête!
With stalls manned by the gin hounds from the Green Man, Toscanaccio, Chococo, Parsonage Farm, Gorilla Spirits Co., Long Barn, Winchester Distillery and Cabinet Rooms, you'll be able to enjoy a couple of hours of gin madness all within the unique setting of the City Mill Winchester.
Who doesn't love a village fête? Especially when it's for grown-ups only and soaked in gin!
We'll have music and games and plenty of gin. You'll be able to meet Winchester Distillery's founder and distiller, Paul Bowler, as well as taste his superlative gin.
Did we mention that there'll be gin?..
Tickets are limited and cost just £10 each.
- Enjoy a complimentary cup of Punch on arrival
- Roll up, roll up to your favourite local businesses to see what they're doing with gin
- Parched? Treat yourself to a refreshing summer beverage from the drinks stall
- Indulge yourself in something naughty but nice at the cake stall
- Try your luck at the Ginchester Fête Tombola!

If tickets are £10 then why am I being charged more?
Tickets cost £10, which includes VAT and payment fees. Eventbrite adds on its booking fee, bringing the total up to £11.20.
What is included in the ticket price?
Your ticket will gain you access to the event as well as a complimentary cup of gin punch on arrival.
There will be food and drink available for you to purchase from stall holders during the event.
Why are there two sessions?
Capacity at the venue is limited so we have therefore decided to host two sessions, each one lasting 2 hours. The early session runs 5pm to 7pm and the late session runs 8pm to 10pm. Please note that bars will close half an hour before the end of each session.
Will we be able to buy gin on the evening?
We shall be selling gin cocktails on the evening. Gin will be available to order on the evening if it is not possible to purchase it to take away with you.
